We think the lecture on AI in healthcare was an eye-opener.👀 We stand at the threshold of yet another revolutionary tool, and if there’s one key takeaway, it’s this: embrace AI and other technologies, don’t resist it. Use it to enhance your expertise and ultimately provide even better care for patients. That said, some aspects of healthcare will always require a human touch. This is where companies can still make a difference in the future: empathy, personal follow-up and genuine connection remain irreplaceable. Technology should empower us, not replace what makes us truly valuable.

I had the opportunity to visit BBOT-UPBTO’s orthopaedic technology exhibition, where leading players in the orthopaedic sector showcased their latest innovations and advancements. This was a great way to further explore the industry, gain deeper insights, and find inspiration for ongoing projects. It was also an excellent chance to connect with industry experts and partners.
One of the highlights was a lecture on how AI is changing the future of orthopaedics. The talk first covered AI’s fundamentals and its broader impact on the future, before diving into its specific applications in orthopaedics, such as using AI to clean up, correct and optimise scans of amputees’ stumps and automatically generate prosthetic sockets.
I was happy to take part in this event and gain new perspectives on the orthopaedic sector. Looking forward to learning even more in the future!
